RIO DE JANEIRO, March 19 (Xinhua) -- Philadelphia Union and United States international winger Freddy Adu is set join Bahia in exchange for 2002 World Cup winning midfielder Kleberson, the Brazilian top-flight club said Tuesday.

Adu's

"And the other aspect is that he is known all around the world which will guarantee the
publicity4 for Bahia. We see the US as a future market and for that reason the signing of Freddy Adu would be a very good deal for us," he said.
Former Manchester United holding midfielder Kleberson joined Bahia last year after a five-year spell with Flamengo.
