Topic 1: Overpriced StuffDuring the National Day holiday, many people chose to visit scenic1 areas and get a taste of China's rich heritage. However, they also got a taste of greed when they saw at Wutai Mountain a dish that cost 400 RMB.
Is this just a fluke? Are things always that expensive during the holidays?
Topic 2: Beggars Union in BeijingIf you ride the subway on a regular basis in China, it's likely you've encountered the beggars, some of whom are gruesomely disfigured or can be uncomfortably invasive when it comes to getting your money.
It's an open secret that while some are for real and need the money, others are just members of a gang or are used to collecting money.
Is it a problem?
Topic 3: Some Negative Feelings May Improve Work PerformanceA new research from University of Liverpool suggests it can actually be good to feel bad at work, and that feeling good in the workplace can lead to negative outcomes. Is the research finding surprising?
