Pull together any loose files that are floatingaround the house or your office. Go through each of the files and check thecontents.

 

 

Iffiles are still active, file them; if files are inactive, be sure to archivethem.

 

 

Any material that is expired and/or no longer neededshould be shredded² and properly recycled.

 

 

Do you have any duplicate files or one too manyfiles for a particular project or item? Consolidate³ the contents of files whereyou can to save space and clean up your filing system.
