The amount of oil siphoned by a-mile-long tube been inserted into a leaking well in the Gulf of Mexico ,has sharply dropped off in the past day.A BP spokesman says the siphon collected more than 57,000 gallons of oil during the past 24 hours ,BP says the Friday the tube will sucking up more than 92,000 gallons a day .
