1. A way out at last for Chile's 36 trapped miners. A drilling rig has punched through to the underground chamber where miners have been trapped for 66 days. However, mining officials say efforts to bring the men to the surface won't happen before Tuesday.
2. A 650-foot ferry was ablaze in the Baltic Sea Saturday after an explosion on the upper deck. Police say 249 people aboard were rescued. Firefighting ships sprayed the vessel with water to keep it from breaking apart and spilling some 170 tons of fuels.
3. Hungary's prime minister says the cracking wall of an industrial plant reservoir appeared on verge of collapse Saturday, threating a second wave of the toxic red sludge that has already covered several towns in Western Hungary and killed seven people.
4. Fans are flocking the Central Park's Strawberry Fields to celebrate what would have been John Lennon's 70th birthday.
