Things are bad for Democrats. All signs are pointing to huge Republican gains across the board, from coast to coast, at all levels of government. The poll shows that Republicans are leading on just about every measurement, from handling the economy to controlling spending to managing government. You know, likely voters are looking at Republicans as the better option over Democrats who are in power right now. You can feel it, no matter where you go in this country, that an overwhelming majority of voters are frustrated, disgusted, angry, disillusioned. And all of those likely voters, they heavily break towards Republicans. So the people who are the most disgusted and angry and frustrated and dispirited are likely to vote Republican in the fall. You know, a lot of this just shows that the trouble was being in the party in power in tough economic times. What we can say for certain now is that there will be more Republicans in the House and Senate. Republicans at this point will pick up at least three Senate seats and at least ten House seats. The question is whether or not Democrats lose the majority. But regardless, President Obama is going to wake up by November 3rd and be faced with the real prospect of spending the next two years not getting anything done legislatively
