1. The sit-down between President Barack Obama and Republican congressional leaders will have to wait nearly two weeks. Obama was supposed to meet with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and presumptive House Speaker John Boehner today. But a scheduling conflict has pushed that meeting back to November 30th. McConnell’s office says the focus of the meeting will be cooperation.

 

2. Accused Russian arms trafficker Viktor Bout is now in the US to face terrorism charges. Bout arrived in Manhattan early this morning. He's expected to appear in federal court today. Bout is accused of providing arms during conflicts in South America, the Middle East and Africa.

 

3. The attorney for a reality TV producer arrested in his wife’s killing in Mexico says his client is innocent and should not be extradited to Mexico. Bruce Beresford-Redman was arrested Tuesday without incident at his home in California. He's expected to make his first court appearance Wednesday in federal court in LA.

 

4. Prince William and Kate Middleton say they will sit down with advisers to plan their long-anticipated wedding. The couple announced their engagement Tuesday. No date or venue has been set although it is expected that they will get married next spring or summer.
