Despite turning 50 next month, Diego Maradona still has some of the skill which maintains him one of the greatest footballers of all time. At a charity event in Moscow for children with cancer., he said he would prove that he also still had managerial skills. He wants to coach his national side again. "I want to go back because I'm thirsty for revenge. That's for sure. But I'm very thankful to the players because we reached a good fifth place at the World Cup. One moves ahead while working on his own personal balance and realises that some things are missing. And now for sure, I'll be able to put this experience and what I've learned to the service of my team."One of the more flamboyant managers of the 2010 World Cup, Maradona may have count a dashing figure but a disjointed Argentinean performance saw them knocked out by Germany. Maradona's contract soon expired afterwards and was not renewed. While he's waiting for another call up, at least his powerful left foot could be put some use, rising half a million dollars for the children's charity and proving at least in some ways one of football's biggest hitters has still got it.
