[00:35.74]The Chinese national flag is known all over the world,
[00:39.99]but its story is not very well known.
[00:42.74]In 1949,from 14 July to 15 August,
[00:48.48]a competition was held to find a new flag for China.
[00:51.96]People were invited to send their ideas to the newspapers.
