1. Russian authorities say the deadly bombing at Moscow's busiest airport was likely carried out by a suicide attacker. At least 35 people were killed and 180 others wounded. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.

 

2. Rahm Emanuel says there is "no doubt" he will prevail in his run for Chicago mayor. An Illinois appeals court took the former White House chief of staff's name off next month's ballot, because he didn't live in Chicago for the year prior to the election. His lawyer says they plan to appeal.

 

3. The FBI says a North Carolina woman has admitted to the 1987 kidnapping of a baby girl from a New York City hospital. Court papers say Ann Pettway told the FBI she was truly sorry. And now 23-year-old Carlina White was reunited with her biological parents earlier this month.

 

4. And an Arctic cold front is hitting the Northeast with the coldest weather the region has seen in two years. The wind chill in some areas of New England is making it feel as cold as -50.
