1. Bahrain's military says it has taken control of key parts of the capital and banned gatherings. Riot police stormed a protest camp in Bahrain Wednesday night. Medical officials say at least four people were killed and dozens hurt in the crackdown.

 

2. President Obama heads west to talk technology today. He'll meet with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Google co-founder Eric Schmidt. He's expected to call for increased investments in education and innovation.

 

3. A Florida woman has pleaded not guilty to allegation she killed her two teenagers. Julie Schenecker was in court Wednesday. Prosecutors say she shot her son inside a van and her daughter while the girl was doing her homework.

 

4. And a new home for some big cats. Twenty-five lions, rescued from circuses in Bolivia, will now live at a sanctuary just outside Denver. TV personality and animal advocate Bob Barker paid for the airlift.
