1. Hundreds of flights at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport have been canceled as a major winter storm blows into the state. The National Weather Service has declared a winter storm warning for the Twin Cities with a prediction that 10 to 15 inches of snow will fall.

 

2. There are reports of more deadly clashes at another mass funeral for anti-government protesters in the Libyan city of Benghazi. One doctor says his morgue has already received at least 200 dead over the last six days of unrest.

 

3. A wind-driven fire has killed one person and injured more than 20 firefighters in Brooklyn. Last night's fire in an apartment house was fanned by wind gusts of more than 50 miles an hour.

 

4. And a mother and baby panda have been moved to a semi-wild environment. Handlers in China's Sichuan Province raised the pandas with limited human contact to ease their transition to a nature reserve.
