1. Libyan forces loyal to Moammar Gaddafi have been striken back to protesters. Some say the government has promised a masscre.Meantime , Gaddafi is accusing al-Qaeda of fomenting  rebellions.

2. US officials say the Obama administration will throw its weight behind a European efforts to expel Libya from the UN's top human right body. They also the White House has named a special investigator to look into alleged atrocities  a committed by Moammar Gaddafi's regime.

3. Wikileaks' founder Julian Assange says he's ready to use the case to expose what he calls, flaws in Sweden's justice system.Thursday a judge in UK served Assange  extradition there to face questions in a sex crime inquiry.

4. Prince William and his fiancee Kate Middleton are back the public eyes. The two are set to be married in April. Thursday they were dedicating a lifeboat together in  Wales.
