Courteney Cox defends estranged hubby(在线收听

BEIJING, March 16 (Xinhuanet) -- U.S. actress Courteney Cox has insisted that her husband David Arquette is "not a malicious(恶意的) person," following Arquette's remarks on U.S. national radio about their intimate bedroom secrets, according to media reports.
Arquette, who entered rehab for treatment for “alcohol and other issues” earlier this year, called into Howard Stern's radio show and told the world that he and the former "Friends" star hadn't had sex for four months before their split last October.
In response, Cox told Harper's Bazaar during a recent interview: "If you didn't hear the Howard Stern interviews and you just read quotes, I'm sure it seemed out of context, crazy.""I'm not saying there wasn't some crazy behavior, but if you know who David is, you know what his intentions are, how honest he is, and how big his heart is," the actress continued to defend him.
"You can't really get mad at David because he's not a malicious person. He was dealing with things the best way he could," she added. "He's not out to harm. But I'm his biggest protector(保护器保护者). I can't help it."In addition, Cox said that she is not ready for divorce since they were married for eleven years.
"I feel like my marriage has been very successful.I do not know what the future holds and I think it's because I have strong feelings for him (referring to David Arquette)," she said.
"I have no desire right now," she said. "I'm not saying never. It just seems weird. I don't even know how that would happen or how you meet people. I really don't like to go out. I'm not great at small talk. I like to go to dinner with people. I don't like to go to parties. "The couple got married in 1999 and has a 6-year-old daughter Coco.(本文由在线英语听力室整理编辑)
