1. More than a dozen deaths are being blamed on a series of severe storms that have ripped through the South. Tornadoes spotted across the region. Fatalities are being reported in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and Oklahoma.

2. The government is changing air traffic controllers' work schedule, following another incident of a controller falling asleep on the job. The FAA says the latest incident happened early this morning in Miami. But unlike in other cases, there were other controllers on duty.

3. Rebel forces are on the move in Libya, trying to fend off government troops. Moammar Gadhafi's forces have poured rocket fire at western targets Saturday, trying to win back a rebel-held city.

4. Actor Nicolas Cage has been arrested in New Orleans. Police says he was detained after he got drunk and was arguing with his wife in the street. He was released on 11,000 dollars bond.
