2. The Libyan government says its army has been holding fire in Misrata since Friday, but residents and Tunisia's state news agency report otherwise. A doctor in the western city said at least 28 people have been killed and 85 wounded in fighting over the last two days.

 

3. The president of a mining company in Idaho says that a miner trapped underground nine days ago is presumed to be dead. Hecla Mining Company's president said in a video release posted Sunday that officials believe Larry Marek was buried beneath a section of the Lucky Friday Mine that collapsed.

 

4. And Hindu guru Sathya Sai Baba died Sunday. He had a following of millions with ashrams in over 126 countries. His devotees in India include high-placed politician, movie stars, world-class athletes and industrialists.
