2. Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour says he is not running for president in 2012. Barbour said it was a difficult personal decision. But he said it would have been an all-consuming effort to the exclusion of all else.

 

3. In Libya, a compound used by leader Moammar Gadhafi is targeted by NATO airstrikes. The damaged structures include a library and a reception hall for dignitaries. Gadhafi was not there.

 

4. At the White House, Easter comes a day late with the annual Easter Egg Roll. Thousands of kids and parents swarm the South Lawn, pushing pastel hard-boiled eggs across the grass.
