1. A lawyer for Ratko Mladic says the war crimes suspect won't live to see the start of his trial on genocide charges. The lawyer says Mladic is ill, and wants doctors to examine the 69-year-old. Mladic is accused of ordering the killing of 8,000 Muslim men and boys in 1995.

2. A deadly E. coli outbreak has been linked to at least 10 deaths in Germany, and prompted Austrian officials to pull all Spanish vegetables off store shelves. Hundreds of people across Europe have gotten sick because of the E. coli outbreak.

3. US troops in Afghanistan took time to remember their fallen comrades on this Memorial Day. More than 1,400 have been killed in Afghanistan since the nearly decade-old war began.

 

4. The space shuttle Endeavour is on its way back to Earth. The shuttle is pulled away from the International Space Station and is expected to touch down on Wednesday. Endeavour will then be retired to a California museum.
