New South Wales can be expected a few thundery showers above the northeast, becoming more scattered on the southern coast. In the west, it should be fine.

It will be an overcast day in Victoria with cloud mainly over Gippsland and a few isolated showers south of the Divide.

Further south, there will some rain for Tasmania mostly above the west and south, while the cold frosty patch in the north.

South Australia will see some isolated thunder storms above the Pastoral and Flinders districts. They should contract north during the day and clear by late tonight.

There will be widespread rain for WA with some morning coastal drizzle above the Eucla and thundery showers above the Southern Goldfields.

And it should be a mostly fine day in the top end apart from a few thundery showers in the south.

Looking ahead to Monday now, thundery showers for Brisbane and Perth, a little rain for Sydney, and it will be overcast in Melbourne with the top of 19 degrees.
