A mix of thick cloud in a deepening low is producing showers and storms over eastern South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. Cloud over southeastern Queensland and northern New South Wales is causing a few showers.

 

More rain for southern Queensland today, especially above the Wide Bay, Burnett and Capricornia regions. Some afternoon showers over far northern Queensland, but fine in the west with drier southwesterly winds.

 

In New South Wales, there will be rain and isolated thunderstorms. Heavy falls are expected to over the southern inland. It should be fine in the far northwest.

 

Heavy rain for Victoria with possible flash flooding, especially in the central and northeastern regions. Thunderstorm will become widespread in the afternoon.

 

Tasmania can expect a warm day, with isolated showers above the east coast and the north, increasing later in the northwest. It should be fine elsewhere.

 

Some isolated showers for southern South Australia, they should increase over the west.

 

Fine in WA today apart from some isolated showers for the south, moving eastwards in the afternoon.

 

Some afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley and the Top End, fine and sunny in the south of Territory with some light northwesterly winds.

 

For tomorrow, rain for most of southeastern coast, cloudy in Perth and sunny in Broome.
