Hello, Nick Dole with the National Weather.

Cloud across the south of the continent is generating thunderstorms over the Nullarbor, while cloud over the tropics is also bringing wet weather. There are some light showers on the New South Wales and Victorian coasts thanks to low cloud and onshore winds. Those winds will pick up in the coming days. There will be warm nor'easterlies for the interior and a low will bring cool showery winds to southwest WA.

To the states now, and Queensland can expect a warm and mostly sunny day in the south. But there'll be showers and storms in the east and the tropics.

Isolated showers are forecast for the New South Wales coast, but inland it should be sunny and warm.

It's fining up in Victoria and becoming mostly sunny throughout the state, expect a warmer nor'easterly winds.

There will be drizzle above the west of Tasmania, but it should be mostly fine elsewhere.

It should be fine, and mostly sunny throughout South Australia apart from the chance of a storm in the west. There'll be warmer nor'easterly winds and coastal sea breezes.

Southeast WA is in for a cool day with isolated showers, but the east will be hot with the chance of a storm or two.

Further north, the Kimberley will be mostly fine. But the Top End can expect showers and storms. It'll be mostly dry elsewhere though.

And looking ahead, there will be showers in Darwin, Adelaide and Perth tomorrow. But the other capitals should be mostly fine.
