Cloud crossing Victoria and southern New South Wales is producing squally showers and storms. A weak trough extending through the Northern Territory in Queensland may cause rain over the tropics and a high in the west is keeping much of WA and the interior clear.

Taking a close look at the states. It will be cloudy with isolated showers along the central coast and central districts of Queensland, morning fog patches above parts of the east coast and adjacent interior.

Scattered showers over the southern inland and western slopes of New South Wales. Snow down to around 900 metres on the southern and central Tablelands with blizzards likely in the Alps.

In Victoria, expected rain, local thunder and hail over the south and mountain areas.

Patchy showers in the west of Tasmania, generally fine elsewhere. Expected scattered rain over the agricultural and far southern pastoral areas of South Australia with possible hail above the central and eastern parts.

Generally clear in WA with the odd shower in the southern Kimberley and Eucla coast. And in the Top End , it will be cloudy with a few brief showers across the north, fine elsewhere.

Look at the capitals for Monday. Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne cloudy, Perth fine, Darwin windy with a top of 33 grees.
