Cloud is driving across Tasmania and southern Victoria, generating rain and snow to 1200 metres. High cloud from central WA, in jetstream winds, is causing scattered showers.

A close look at the states. Fine over most of Queensland. But there is a chance of possible isolated storms over the northeast. Patchy cloud over southern and inland New South Wales might cause light showers. Skies are mostly clear in the north under a high.

Widespread cloud is bringing isolated showers across most of Victoria. Rain is falling and snow on the Alps. Tasmania can expect strong winds in the southeast and patchy showers across the state especially over the south and west ranges. Skies are mostly clear in South Australia but scattered cloud over the southeast in cold westerly winds is causing the odd shower.

Looking at the west. Cloud bands along the southwest border will bring in coastal showers. Fine elsewhere. And there will be light rain across the Top End with gusty winds across the south. Mostly sunny elsewhere especially in Darwin.

Taking a look at Tomorrow's forecast. It will be wet across most of the east coast. Showers are also expected in Adelaide and Perth. And cloudy but hot in Darwin with a top of 33 degrees.
