 Patchy cloud along the New South Wales and southeast Queensland coast is triggering the odd light shower. Cloud over the Victorian coast and much of Tasmania is causing showers, mainly falling over western Tasmania. But it's looking mostly clear elsewhere. 

 
Around the states now, and in Queensland today, there will be isolated showers over eastern districts, scattered over the north tropical coast with isolated showers and thunderstorms over the Cape York Peninsula.
 
Isolated showers are expected along the north and central coast of New South Wales, possibly spreading to the adjacent ranges. It should be fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. 
 
And it will be a mostly fine day in Victoria apart from some showers over the southwest of the state and near the central coast. 
 
There will be isolated showers over the west and far south of Tasmania, clearing by the afternoon. Fine elsewhere apart from the chance of isolated afternoon showers about the northeast. 
 
It will be mostly sunny across South Australia today. Warm northeasterly winds will strengthen.
 
In the west,(the Weather Bureau)expects scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in the southwest region. But it's looking clear and warm elsewhere. 
 
And in the Northern Territory, it should be fine apart from isolated showers about the northeast coast.
 
In the capitals tomorrow, a shower or two for Brisbane. Possible showers in Sydney. Cloudy and 19 degrees for Canberra. Mostly sunny in Melbourne. Fine for Hobart, Adelaide and Darwin. And partly cloudy with a top of 25 degrees for Perth.
