The man who killed 11 women and dumped their remains around his Cleveland property apologized Monday in front of relatives of his victims and the jury that will decide whether to recommend the death penalty. "Well, the only thing I want to say is, I'm sorry", said Anthony Sowell during a 30-minute unsworn statement. 
 
 
 
4. Sixty-one-year-old marathon swimmer Diana Nyad has ended her bid to swim from Cuba to the Florida Keys, about half way through the journey. According to Nyad's Twitter feed, she decided to quit because of rough conditions.
