A southeasterly change along the New South Wales coast is generating cloud and a few showers. Cooler southerly winds are bringing isolated light showers to southern Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.

Taking a look around the country.

Queensland will see isolated showers developing over the southeast region in the afternoon, with some possible thunderstorms. Fine over the rest of the state.

In New South Wales, isolated showers about the south coast and ranges, extending north and inland later in the day. Fine elsewhere.

Victoria can expect isolated showers on and south of the ranges, possibly developing over the north during the afternoon. Cool and partly a cloudy day.

Mostly fine and cool and for Tasmania with some isolated showers about the west and far south.

In South Australia, a mostly fine day with isolated showers in the south and coastal areas.

Western Australia can expect some isolated stormy showers and possible thunderstorms in north and northeastern interior, clearing in the evening.

And in the Northern Territory, partly cloudy with isolated showers about the northwest coast. A high to very high fire danger across the state.

And tomorrow in the capitals. A few showers and possible storm for Brisbane. Scattered showers in Sydney. Showers also developing in Perth, fine in Adelaide, and partly cloudy in Canberra, Melbourne and Darwin.
