 NATO says five coalition troops and eight contractors as well as four Afghans were killed when a Taliban suicide bomber attacked an armored shuttle bus in Kabul today. Rod Nordland is a correspondent for the New York Times in Kabul.

"It is the worst attack on either American soldiers or NATO soldiers in the course of the last 10 years in Kabul. So and for Americans it’s the third worst attack that they've ever suffered in Afghanistan."
