China's Overseas Investment Surged in 2010(在线收听

Newly released figures show China's outbound direct investment surged 22 percent year-on-year to nearly $70 billion U.S. dollars last year, recording growth for the ninth straight year.

The commerce ministry says China's 2010 outbound direct investment accounted for 5.2 percent of global capital flows and exceeded that of both Japan and the United Kingdom for the first time.
