Mourinho: Title is our obsession(在线收听

MADRID, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho said this Saturday that his side were not obsessed with individual records but in assuring the BBVA Primera Liga title.

Mourinho was speaking ahead of Sunday's league match away to Rayo Vallecano in which his side could momentarily open a 13-point lead over FC Barcelona at the top of the table.
Cristiano, who leads the country's goalscoring charts ahead of Barcelona's Leo Messi, with 28 goals scored to Messi's 27, will lead the attack, but Mourinho said his entire side was focussed on team achievements above everything else.
"We are not looking for records, we are looking to win the title. We are not looking for the number of goals to be top scorers, it is not an obsession, nor an objective. We went to win the league and we will fight for that until the end," said Mourinho, who also discussed Rayo, who entertain Madrid on the back of three straight wins.
"I expect a difficult rival and a difficult game. They have an attacking philosophy but maybe they play better football away from home as they have a small ground and look to play more directly. They are a side that is not scared of anyone and I like that, because I like them as a club," he continued.
Mourinho also discussed the time FC Barcelona coach is taking to extend his contract with the club.
"I don't care what he does, it is his decision and his decision is the one that will make him happy and that is the most important thing," commented the Real Madrid coach.
