It's a great wait to launch today's show. From those students in Ohio to CNN news room here in Atlanta,G.We are welcoming our viewers from around the world. This is CNN students news.

First up.Strong words from the Gulf Cooperation council about a crisis taking place in Syria. The Gulf Cooperation Council is a group of Arab counties and describe the violence in Syria as a massacre against defenseless people. There are reports that dozens of people are dying in Syria everyday.Activists and other groups blame the Syrian government for launching attacks against citizens. The government says the violence is being caused by armed terrorists groups. Now it's hard for CNN to conform reports from either side in the story because the Syrian government has restricted how much access journalists have inside the country but we did hear from activist inside Syria. We talked about the conditions there, the world reaction and what's going on.

I just say on word.I think the entire world should be ashamed for what happening here.Everybody is just silent and looking at us being slaughter every moment. For our reason, just asking for our freedom. No power,no fuel still cold. There's too much I can't say. There's too much.

There are four candidates hoping to be the Republican Nominee in this year's presidential election. To do that, to be the nominee, they need to win delegates in Primary and caucus.Yesterday was the most recent opportunity to do that.We have caucus in Minnesota,Colorado and there was a primary in Missouri. The results have not been announced when we produced the show last night. We have several primary and caucuses already but yesterday was the first time, there had been more than one of those in the same day and according to some political analysts, besides the delegates, momentum was the big thing it still cares.

And these are the people who were hoping to get some of that moments.Starting from the left we have former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, then U.S. Representative Ron Paul, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and former Senator Rick Santorum.

And in California, there is a legal battle over the Proposition Eight.Proposition Eight was a referendum that voters passed in 2008.And what it did was abandon same sex marriage.Yesterday,a federal appeal court ruled that Proposition Eight  is unconstitutional. It said that the ban singles out that gays and lesbians for discrimination by denying their rights to civil marriage. The reaction you can probably imagine was split.People who support same sex marriage celebrated. People who are opposed to it,say they are upset by the court decision. They also say they are willing take the issue to the US Supreme Court by themselves. There won't be  any same sex marriage in California right now. They have been halted while this legal [plays out.The appeals court judge pointed out that their decision only refers to PRO-8 in California. They say other states would have to decide the same sex marriage themselves.

Having your houses over run by robots and rockets might not sound like the best thing, that what President Obama asked for.He hosted to the second White House Science Fair yesterday, honoring students who won the competitions in science math technology and engineering.More than 100 students had the chance to show off their research and inventions.Robots in the blue room, rockers in the red room and the state's dining room, the extreme marshmallow cannon, the thing works with compress air. Looks at the president had a bit of trouble pumping enough air into the machine but after he was able to get it filled up,he took a turn fire the marshmallow at the drapes.
