Iran's soccer legend Daei survives car crash(在线收听

   TEHRAN, March 18 (Xinhua) -- Iran's soccer legend Ali Daei has survived a serious car crash, local media reported on Sunday.

  Former captain of Iran's national soccer team was injured on his way from Isfahan to Tehran after his car overturned on Saturday evening.
  After he was taken to a hospital in central Kashan city, the doctors commented that he was in "good condition" and was hurt by some non-serious injury on the skull and ear, said the reports.
  The coach of Iranian soccer club, Rahahan, was heading to Tehran after his team was beaten 3-2 by Sepahan soccer club in Isfahan.
  The reports by the police said that the cause of the accident was "high speed."
  A Sunday TV footage showed Daei in the hospital in Kashan talking to the reporter and asking people to pray for him.
  Daei, 42, who played for Bayern Munich in Germany's Bundesliga from 1997-1999, is the world's top goal scorer in international matches by scoring 109 goals in 149 international games.
  Daei, as of June 2007, is also a member of the FIFA Football Committee.
