no后面可跟可数名词（单、复数均可）和不可数名词，表示否定，相当于“not+any或者not+a”等。

　　例：I’ve no good friends here.=I’ve not any good friends here=I’ve not a good friend here.

　　二、none的用法

　　与no不同的是，none后面不能直接跟名词，它可以单独使用（主要用在回答how many…或how much…问题之后），还常常和of连用；none指人或物，可指单数和复数。

　　例：English is the first language in none of these countries.=English isn’t the first language in any of these countries.

　　三、none和no one的区别

　　none可以指人或物，no one相当于nobody,只指人。

　　四、nothing,nobody等的用法

　　合成词nothing，nobody等的用法与no一样，可以跟可数名词（单复数均可）和不可数名词，表示否定。

　　例：Nothing is serious=There is nothing serious=There isn’t anything serious.
