TATABANYA, Hungary, June 23 (Xinhua) -- Hungary beat China 10-8 in a women's water polo friendly game in here on Saturday.

The match was a warm-up for the Olympic women's water polo tournament which begins on July 30 in London.
China led after the first quarter 2-1 but the hosts recovered to win the remaining 5-4, 3-2, 1-0.
Barbara Bujka, Gabriella Szucs, and Rita Dravucz each scored two goals for Hungary, while Sun Yujun scored three goals and Teng Fei added two for China.
China won the silver medal in the world championships in Shanghai in 2011 and are expected to perform strongly at the London Olympics.
After the game, Pan Shenghua, a member of the Chinese coaching staff, said the match was useful to test how the team's training has been going.
"The overall situation of the Chinese team is going up step by step," he said.
Pan believes any of the eight teams in the Olympics tournament could win gold in London including the Hungarians who finished third in the European Championships in Eindhoven in January.
The two teams have been paired together in the same group in the preliminary round along with the United States and Spain. The other group contains hosts Britain, Australia, Italy, and Russia.
