 Teltra says it's raising costs of many of its fixed line and mobile phone plans for the first time in 9 years.From 1 of October, one rental will increase for half of Telstra's HomeLine plans by between 2 and 5 dollars.The local course will cost an additional 2 cents on some plans.For mobile phone customers,cost will be charged in one minute walks instead of 30 seconds walks.

Samsung's posted a record operating profit of 5.7 billion dollars on rising sales of its Galaxy-3 phone.It's jumped almost 8 per cent from a year before.Samsung shares opened almost 2 per cent higher in Seoul after the quarterly financial results were announced.
And two months after a highly publicized stock market, float shares in the social networking site Facebook have plunged to new low.It down by more than 6 per cent,just over 22 dollars after the company published disappointing results.Its first earning report see its 100-billion-float.Facebook posted a loss of nearly 160 million dollars.
When the markets in Europe closed a couple of hours ago,London's FTSE was up 54 points.The DAX is up,as you can see,pretty much up across the board in Europe.And in the US,the same story.The Dow up 198 points.S&p 500 and Nasdaq also rising.

The Aussie dollar is close to 105 US cents this morning,66 pence and 129 New Zealand cents.
