 Police are still trying to establish a motive for a triple murder in Sydney's west.The bodies of two men and a woman were found in the bedroom of a flat at St John's Park yesterday morning. A 44-year-old man has been arrested and is under police guard in hospital with stab wounds.

There has been more fierce fighting in Aleppo with Syrian government forces trying to regain control of that city.Helicopter gunships have fired at rebel-held areas and there has been heavy shelling and gunfire.The United Nations says 200,000 people have fled Aleppo in the past two days alone.
Former Howard government minister Mark Bruff is on the verge of a political comeback.He's won pre-election in the Queensland city of Fisher which is held by the speaker Peter Slipper.Mr Bruff has been downplaying his role in the sexual harassment case against Mr Slipper.
The number of asylum seekers arriving in Australia by boat has reached new high.The Department of Immigration figures show 6,765 people have arrived so far this year.That's broken the previous record set in 2010.
And Australia has picked up two more medals in the pool.Christian Sprenger has won a silver medal in the 100-metre breaststroke,while Alicer Puze picked up a bronze in the 100-metre butterfly.But the great hope for the gold,the men's 4*100 metre relay team has failed their medal attempt,coming in fourth.
