Let's take a look at the satellite. A cold front over southern parts of WA is triggering showers and storms. The front could cause damaging winds. Over South Australia, cloud with a trough is prompting a few showers and storms. And a trough over Queensland is casuing the odd shower.

Looking around the states.

In Queensland, it'll be mostly sunny and very warm, sea breezes on the coast, and isolated showers and storms in the southeast.

New South Wales can expect isolated showers in the central coastal fringe. Mostly sunny elsewhere.

In Victoria, early fog patchies, then partly cloudy, showers will clear near the central and Gippsland coasts. Mostly fine eslewhere.

Early fog patchies for Tasmania, then mostly sunny, warm and northerly winds developing in the west.

In South Australia, a cool morning with fog patchies and cloud increasing. Warmer ahead of a cooler change and showers in the south.

Light showers will clear over WA's coast, with mostly sunny weather over the remainder of the state, hot in the north.

The Northern Territory can expect a mostly sunny day, hot inland and sea breezes about the coasts.

Looking ahead to tomorrow. And a possible shower for Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. Mostly sunny in Sydney and Canberra. Rain clearing in Hobart. And sunny in Perth and Darwin
