2. The holders of the two winning Powerball tickets have 180 days in which to claim their prize. One ticket was sold in Kansas City area, the other near Phoenix. The total jackpot was estimated at more than 587 million dollars.

3. Just hours after police say they arrested Lindsay Lohan in New York City for hitting a woman at a night club, the 26-year-old actress was charged in California for a June crash in which her Porsche slammed into a dump truck. 

4. And some children on their way to school in Russia stumbled upon this, a lion cub. Police say the kids took the lion to their teacher who kept it in the school gym until officials arrived and eventually brought the cub to a zoo.
