   国际制假团伙在维也纳被捕

VIENNA, June 18 (Xinhua) -- Austrian authorities along with Europol on Tuesday busted a large counterfeiting gang based in Vienna, the Kronen Zeitung reported.

The Serbian gang has supposedly provided criminals around the world with false papers such as passports and drivers licenses which is what attracted the participation of Europol. The gang also printed counterfeit money in very large quantities, primarily Serbian Dinar used for property purchases in Serbia.
Austrian special forces WEGA and Cobra as well as the state criminal police and the Austrian Nationalbank were also involved in the investigations that ran for several months, finally leading to 12 raids across Vienna where illegal workshops were discovered.
Experts from the Nationalbank will now undertake an analysis of the counterfeit money. Representatives from all agencies involved in the raid are expected to provide more information at a press conference held by the Ministry of the Interior on Wednesday.
