1. An Illinois judge is expected to rule Thursday whether convicted wife killer Drew Peterson will get a new trial. Peterson's new attorney claims last year's trial was bungled. Peterson was convicted of killing his third wife in 2004. 

 

2. Officials say two people have survived a small plane crash at an airport in Georgia. Five others on board were killed. Federal Aviation Officials say the jet crashed off the end of the runway at Thomson-McDuffie County Airport Wednesday night. 

 

3. On Wednesday, a detective admitted at Oscar Pistorius' bail hearing that police have no evidence challenging the Olympian's claim that he accidentally shot and killed his girlfriend on Valentines' Day, thinking it was an intruder.
