1. President Barack Obama spent his second day in Jerusalem, visiting an Israel museum. Later he met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank city of Ramallah.

 

2. Israeli police say Gaza militants have fired two rockets at southern Israel, as President Obama is visiting the region. Police say no one was hurt, no group has claimed responsibility for Thursday's rocket firing.

 

3. Cyprus' president met with party leaders to secure their support for a revised plan to raise 7.5 billion dollars. That's the amount international creditors have demanded in exchange for a larger rescue package that would prevent the country's bankruptcy. Cypriot Banks have been ordered shut until next Tuesday to prevent a bank run.

 

4. Two high school football players from Connecticut are facing sexual assault charges, in a case that's drawn comparisons to the conviction of two football players from Steubenville, Ohio. Both athletes have pleaded not guilty.
