 1. Higher humidity is helping fire fighters take on a deadly Arizona wildfire. At the Yarnell Hill fire is still zero percent contained.  Investigators arrived today to find out why 19 elite fire fighters died and determine whether human error played a role in the tragedy.

 
2. A deadline is approaching for Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi. State Media reports the powerful military plans to overturn his Islamist dominated government if the elected leader doesn’t meet the demands of millions of protestors. At least 7 people have died in crashes between protestors and Morsi’s supporters. 
 
3. India and Brazil are closing their doors to Edward Snowden. But Venezuela appears to be a maybe. The country’s President Nicolas Maduro is visiting Moscow and today he praised Snowden but dodged the question of whether he’ll take the NSA systems analyst home to Venezuela with him. 
 
4. And Chicago’s Brookfield Zoo has a new arrival, a baby boy giraffe that weighs 173 pounds and is 5-foot 9 inches tall. Experts at the zoo say the male calf could grow to 18 feet tall. He is the 59th giraffe born at the zoo.
