We are back at 7:44 and now to the controversy heating up, the international beauty pageant world. A contestant for Miss Universe expelled from competing for the crown because she used to be a man. ABC's Cecilia Vega has the story.

Jenna Talackova is a stunning 23-year-old beauty who had her heart sacked on competing in the Miss Universe Canada Pageant. And after being selected from 65 finalists, she was on her way to Toronto for her shot at the crown. But on Friday the Vancouver native's journey was cut short when pageant officials disqualified her for what they said was her failure to meet competition requirements, which one? Not being a naturally born female. That's right. Jenna Talackova was born a boy, a fact she shared openly in 2010 after Miss International Queen transsexual/transgender Pageant in Thailand. You've lived your life as a woman for how long? Since I was, well, I always knew since I was about like four. (Really?) And I started my therapy, hormone therapy when I was 14. And I went through the surgery when I was 19. Miss Universe Canada which is owned by Donald Trump, sends its winner to compete in the Miss Universe pageant. In a statement to the ABC news, the organization says Jenna falsified her application when she said she was born female. The Miss Universe pageant has rules which apply to all of its franchises around the world. The rules currently state that all contestants must be naturally born females. Jenna told CTV she was disappointed with the decision but will look to turn this situation into a positive so that other people in a similar situation are not discriminated against in the future. For Good Morning America, Cecilia Vega, ABC News, Los Angeles.
And over 30,000 people have already signed a virtual petition online to have the judges reverse their decision.
