1. Secretary of State John Kerry and his Russian counterpart say they have reached an agreement on getting Syria to destroy all of its chemical weapons. The agreement gives Syria one week to turn over a full list of its chemical weapon stockpiles, which would all have to be destroyed by mid 2014. 2. After days of flooding, authorities in Colorado say they are getting to residents stranded in mountain communities. Four people have been confirmed dead and the high water has affected an area as large as Connecticut.
3. At least 35 people were injured when a Greyhound bus left the road, flipped on its side, and wound up a cornfield in south west Ohio. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
4. Tropical storm Ingrid is getting stronger off Mexico Gulf coast. Saturday, it was located above 130 miles northeast of Veracruz with sustained winds about 65 miles an hour. |
