 1. The FBI says the Defense contract employee behind Monday shooting rampage at the Washington Naval Yard had a legitimate pass to get in. Thirty-four-year-old Aaron Alexis killed a dozen people before he died in a shootout with police.

 
 
 
2. Eight people are now believed to be dead in the massive floods in Colorado. Hundreds remain unaccounted for, although rescue workers managed to contact many of them.
 
 
 
3. Engineers in Italy have set the Costa Concordia cruise ship upright, in hopes of eventually towing it away. Thirty-two people died after the ship hit a reef and turned on its side back in January, 2012.
 
 
 
4. And Mexico is dealing with floods, landslides and heavy rain, after a major storm hit its gulf and Pacific coasts. The Mexican government says more than 30 people have died.
