The growth of CPI, a main gauge of inflation, slightly slowed in November. It grew 3 percent year on year, down from the 3.2 percent recorded in October. Food prices, especially that of vegetables, were the main driver.

Last month, food prices jumped 5.9 percent year on year, while prices of non-food products moved up 1.6 percent.

Meanwhile, the Producer Price Index, which measures inflation at wholesale level, fell 1.4 percent from a year earlier.
