 An inland trough is bringing showers to Eastern New South Wales and southeastern Queensland while a high is directing onshore winds and the odd shower over southwest WA and coast of Victoria and South Australia.

 
Looking around the country, for Queensland the scattered shower in the southeast mainly coastal, a cool morning but sunny elsewhere. New South Wales can expect showers and possible storms in the east with some scattered showers in the central interior. It will be dry in the west. In Victoria some isolated showers in the southwest and north, areas of ** frost then mostly sunny elsewhere. For Tasmania brisk westerly winds and showers in the west mainly dry and sunny in the east with some northwesterly. South Australia can expect some isolated showers along the coast, dry and mostly sunny elsewhere.
 
For Western Australia a mostly dry and sunny day in the south, light rain easing in the timberland. And for the top *, some possible light showers in the west and interior, but warm and sunny day across the north. Looking ahead to tomorrow’s forecast for the capital cities, more wet weather ahead for Brisbane and Sydney, sunny in Canberra, Melbourne, Hobart and Perth, and possible showers in Adelaide and windy day for Darwin.
