CCTV9英语新闻12月：撞人老外因非法就业将被遣返出境（在线收听）

A foreigner who was involved in a motor accident will be fined and deported from China after police discovered he and his father were working without proper visa. The unnamed foreigner, who’s country of origin was also not revealed, hit a Chinese woman while riding his motorbike, causing her minor injuries on Dec. 2.

Beijing police say the foreigner didn’t have a driver’s license and his motorcycle was also unlicensed. Police say we was riding his motorcycle against the flow of traffic. Police also found that the man and his father were working in Beijing without working permits.

The son was held in detention for seven days and fined 1,500 yuan for his traffic violations. He was also ordered to serve an additional five days and pay a fine of 5,000 yuan for working without a visa. The man’s father is to be detained 14 days and fined 10,000 yuan. The two men will soon be deported. Their employer was fined 20,000 yuan.
