奥巴马演讲视频:奥巴马夫妇准备在白宫庆祝万圣节(在线收听

Heather Cooper: Okay, what I'm doing today is, I am putting together a topiary.

We have four of these that are going up.

We have almost all volunteers.

I would say by the end of the weekend, you will have seen almost upwards of 60 people total that will have volunteered their time to make Halloween great.

The President and First Lady went out and chose some pumpkins that they wanted to be made.

The President: Or, what about this one right here?

This one...

We've got to carve it up.

The First Lady: No -- yeah, I think we're going to carve one.

I think this could be a good one.

The kids would love this.

Sarah Martin:

The President picked out these pumpkins and we just picked out the best patterns that we had found for the trick-or-treating; this is the results.

Heather Cooper: Well, we have so many pumpkins coming, so we have to make sure that those are special amidst all of the other pumpkins.

Susie Morrison: We are packing, right now, the cookies for the Halloween trick-or-treaters on the North Portico that the President and First Lady will be there to hand out.

The President: Come on, Spiderman!

How are the droopy ears?

Whoa!

Oh, a fairy!

Hey, bug!

Good to see you, bug.

Susie Morrison: Inside each bag, we have the White House that is dipped in a lovely orange color this year.

We have 1,400 more to cut out, bake, dip and do the same thing.

We have the Presidential M&M's.

And then, of course, we have some assorted dried fruit.

It's so exciting; the children are just so full of such excitement when they come up and see the President and the First Lady and know that they're getting a special treat from the White House.
