 1. The National Transportation Safety Board says a train that derailed in New York City was travelling 82 miles per hour as it approached a 30-mile per hour zone. Investigators plan to question the engineer and conductor. Sunday’s crash killed four people and injured more than 60 others. 

 
2. President Obama announced a 100-million-dollar research initiative to help find a cure for HIV. Obama made the announcement Monday at a White House event marking World AIDS day. 
 
3. Earlier numbers indicate that online shopping is up by more than 20% compared with the same time last year. Cyber Monday is supposed to be the busiest day of the year for online shopping, and accounts for about 10% of total holiday’s spending. 
 
4. And Amazon.com is working on the way to get packages to customers in the 30 minutes or less via self-guided drones. The so-called prime air unmanned aircraft project is still in the development stage and will take years to advance technology and get new FAA rules in place.
