CCTV9英语新闻:中国12月CPI降至七个月低点(在线收听

China’s latest inflation figures just released by the National Bureau of Statistics are at a seven month low. December’s inflation came in at 2.5 percent compared with the same month last year.

And with that number China’s inflation rate for all of 2013 registered in at 2.6 percent, well below the government’s full-year target of 3.5 percent. For most months of last year, consumer price growth has been hovering around or below 3 percent. Analysts broadly welcomed the figures, saying they pointed to a stable outlook for prices and a reduced chance of monetary tightening.
